The Rancho Cielo Board of Directors commend Suzy Ford on her outstanding design and production of the packaging design for the new Rancho Cielo branded Rub product. Her excellent creative design of the label as well as the incorporation of all the branding and technical product features and Rancho Cielo students stories into the label design were very creative and comprehensive in the artwork and detail. Suzy’s design expands the Rancho Cielo logo into a new unique marketing "imagery and style” that is a critical component for our future branded products.

I am writing to acknowledge the tremendous work that Susan Ford did to create the Monterey Peninsula College Teachers Association (MPCTA) logo. It is extremely difficult to design for a committee of cross-discipline academics who can never agree on anything. Susan's logo was selected unanimously. Every faculty member on the committee felt that it captured the spirit we were looking for—it speaks to the beautiful natural environment of our campus and Monterey generally, and provides an incredibly creative graphic representation of the inter-play between student and teacher.

Despite contract disputes and media upsets, Ms. Ford exhibited a remarkable focus to design a logo that reflects our mission: commitment to students and community without being too literal. The beautiful tree logo that she produced is precisely what we’d hoped to see.

Suzy Ford was originally hired as Public Relations Manager at Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Waikiki. Having an extensive restaurant and event management background, Suzy's role evolved into Public Relations and Promotions Manager for Food & Beverage overseeing PR and promotion initiatives for 8 outlets within our four hotels, producing outstanding results in our top 3 restaurants.
Suzy possesses the ultimate "can do" attitude while taking on all tasks with great energy and a smile. Her upbeat personality and engaging personal style were contagious and enabled her to interact and build solid relations effectively with the public. She is well organized and kept track of the details necessary to coordinate events, photo shoots, filming on property and other high level tasks.
